Trump’s Campaign Kickoff

President Trump launched his 2026 campaign by highlighting his achievements over the past year, asserting that America is set for an “economic resurgence” in 2026 as his policies take effect.

He emphasized that Americans can expect financial relief following the high prices experienced during the Biden administration.

Speaking from the White House’s Diplomatic Room, Trump stated he is reversing a troubling trend. “Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I’m fixing it,” he remarked. He noted that inflation had reached its highest level in nearly five decades, making life increasingly difficult for many Americans.

“In the past 11 months, we have brought more positive change to Washington than any administration in American history,” Trump claimed.

The president listed grievances against President Biden, including issues related to the economy, immigration policies, and trade agreements. He pointed out Biden’s assertion that closing the U.S. border required congressional action.

“As it turned out, we didn’t need legislation; we just needed a new president,” Trump declared.

During his 20-minute address, Trump argued that he has made significant strides in reducing costs despite public dissatisfaction with living expenses. He mentioned decreases in prices for various goods and services under his leadership.

Trump predicted that Americans would experience one of the best economies in years leading up to the 2026 midterms. He expressed optimism about this coinciding with the 250th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence.

“We’re poised for an economic boom like never before,” he stated confidently.
