Heinz introduces a unique gravy flavor
Kraft Heinz is offering a special limited-edition gravy that draws inspiration from a beloved sandwich featured in the sitcom “Friends.” This promotion allows fans to enjoy a taste of nostalgia.
Customers who purchase a 12-ounce jar of regular Heinz turkey gravy at Walmart.com will receive a complimentary squeeze bottle of “Leftover Gravy,” along with a recipe card for creating a Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich. This offer is available while supplies last.
The “Leftover Gravy” from Heinz contains turkey broth and is inspired by the famous “Moist Maker” sandwich, which consists of leftover Thanksgiving turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. This sandwich was notably featured in an episode of the NBC sitcom that aired in 1998.
The name comes from a slice of bread soaked in gravy that sits in the middle of the sandwich, adding to its deliciousness.
While Heinz did not explicitly mention “Friends,” they indicated that this product aims to resonate with millennials who are reshaping traditional holiday celebrations.
